Fashion exhibits now in Dallas

Two beautiful, interesting and inspiring exhibits to view in Dallas.

The exhibition “Reimagining the Kimono,” presented by the Texas Fashion Collection of the University of North Texas is at North Park between Neimans Marcus and Dillards.   It runs now through June 27th.   It features not only traditional Japanese kimonos like the uchikake see in the photo (a formal outer kimono by an unknown designer), but also imagined garments by designers Oscar de la Renta, Halston, Issey Miyake, Balenciaga, Hanea Mori, and Karl Lagerfeld.… Read the rest
