A shared love of sewing, a little inspiration, and plenty of “How did you do that?” moments. That’s what our Neighborhood Groups are all about! Whether you’re taking your first stitches or have been sewing for years, you’ll find a welcoming place to share ideas, learn something new, and make friends who understand the excitement of a great fabric find.
Browse the groups below and explore one or several that spark your interest. Each group has its own personality and sewing focus, so there’s room to find your favorites!
Come give us a try! You’re welcome to attend two group meetings as a guest before joining the American Sewing Guild (ASG). Annual membership is $60 for the first year and $55 for renewals. Junior membership is $35 per year for those through age 17, extending through age 22 for registered college students. Once you join, Neighborhood Group meetings are free, and your ASG membership is recognized at chapters nationwide.

All Things by Hand

Community Sew

Designing Divas

Description: Designing Divas focuses on flat pattern drafting to enhance the basic sloper pattern. This allows the sewist complete design license in creating their own unique wardrobe.
Hoopla Sisters

Material Girls

Upping Your Game

Description: Explore comfortable clothing suitable for going out or staying home. Sewists look at design details that can turn a garment into wearable art. It’s a great venue to become inspired.
We’re Sew Special
When: 1st Tuesday of the Month, 6:30 PM regular meeting and sew-in on the 2nd Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Description: This group enjoys crafting projects of all kinds. We have a demo during our regular meeting time and then hold a sew-in to create it.
