Sewing with Shirley Cunningham

shirleycLast Saturday I spent the afternoon in Shirley Cunningham’s Llano studio watching her design a collage jacket for my mother.

She designed an abstract collage of a favorite cliff on my mother’s ranch. I will then stitch it on an existing jacket.

Carol’s mother’s quilt

Carol Hamilton finished this quilt that was the last one her mother made before she passed away. She shared it at Material Girls this month.
