The Plano Chapter has forged into new territory – social media – so if you follow any of the below (and if you don’t give one or two a try)

FACEBOOK – find us at https://www.facebook.com/PlanoASGsews please “like” our page.  AND follow Mary Jo’s lead and post your current creations, or any creation.  It is a virtual show and tell.  Post a picture before you send a creation off to a loved one, and we would love to see you modeling your works as well.

PINTEREST – follow our boards and like our posts.  There are some ideas for the Garment Sew Along (in March) posted, and more to come!

MEETUP – Meetup has the Neighborhood Group Schedule posted, this is a great way to see and chat with guests and potential members.

Send me your sewing pinterest boards, your sewing blogs, tweets, instagram, and any other social media apps you use!

Offline, we are also going to advertise by putting ASG trifold flyers in all local sewing stores.  We are also creating Plano ASG business cards.  These will have a place for your name if desired.

We will distribute them through neighborhood group leaders, carry a few with you and hand them out when you talk to others that have an interest in sewing.  These will be distributed over the next 4 weeks or so, if you would like to volunteer to “adopt” a store, please let me know.
