Our Plano ASG Members have been busy this month being seen around our sewing communities learning and sharing their love of sewing.
Here’s the spotlight of members we have seen around:

Davie Marie & Sally Ann in Expo Fashion Show
Ginny with her favorite teacher at Expo.
Here is what Ginny had to say about Expo:
“Well, here I am at the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo of 2026. I have looked forward to this event since finding a web site called “Sew Many Creations NY” and finding out that Jessica Vandenburgh will be attending as a teacher and vendor of cork purses. I signed up for her lecture class and one hands on making a cork purse. I bought her pattern at Rocking Bobbin a year ago and took the class but never finished it. I then started following her as she offered uTube classes and other interactive events. Her lecture class was great and my first class with her taking her Lola bag went so good I decided to take her other class on Saturday. But in between I went shopping and bought 10+ pieces of colored and patterned cork and various supplies. I have 2 purses to finish and several more to start. I had a great time, learned a lot. She is a great”
Last, but not least, the eleven ladies participating in the Art Meets Fashion Show. What a great time had by the participants and the audience – which was filled with so many ASG members.

Most of these outfits will be shown again at the October 24 Plano ASG Luncheon. Hope we will be able to see everyone’s beautiful creations at the Luncheon Style Show. Be watching for details!
