President’s Highlights – January 2026

Make new friends,
But Keep the Old,
One is Silver and the Other’s Gold

(My favorite Scouting Song)

So true for all our sewing friends – A chance to make new friends, a chance to savor the old friends, and a time to share all the secrets of sewing!!

There are so many pictures to share of all our social events the last couple of months. (Read to the end so you can view all the pictures!)

Sunset Overnight retreat is Feb. 4-8.  Join us.  Questions?  Contact Sharon at vp@planoasgsews.org

The Special Events team is excited to announce the spring gathering, Hats in Bloom.    Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 28th, at 1:00 PM.  We are planning a special speaker, Elena Wittman, of Art of Hats Studio Millinery.
Think about wearing a hat to our spring fling, you may even think to decorate a hat from your challenge bag!   Remember, challenge projects are due at the spring event as well.  Of course there will be prizes!  Plan to come sip tea, show off a head piece, and learn something new about hats!
