ASG Sewing Hall of Fame 2012

Each year the National ASG picks a Hall of Fame Honoree. Induction into the Sewing Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have had a lasting impact on the home sewing industry with unique and innovative contributions through sewing education, product development, media or other sewing industry related endeavors.

TAG – Teach Another Generation

One of the biggest news items from ASG Headquarters is a new program called TAG – Teach Another Generation. The program is just starting out, but the focus is on teaching young people to sew.

SA Curve Templates

During the ASG Annual Conference in Houston (August 16-20), Plano ASG will be selling SA Curve Pocket templates and Cuff & Collar templates.

Paper-tape Body Double workshop

On June 23rd, The Paper-tape Body Double workshop took place. Paper-tape body doubles are an exact duplicate of your body and are extremely useful as dress forms when draping or fitting garments.
