A Hands on Doll Making Class

By Jami Roux

Are you ready to shake up your creativity?  Join us in an all-day workshop to create a darling fabric doll!  Do you need ideas?  Perhaps you need a birthday or Christmas present, or a special project just for yourself!  This workshop will get you out of your comfort zone – while realizing just how truly easy it is to create a fabric doll.

Instructor:  Jami Roux
Date:  Tuesday July 26th with a short Zoom call on Tuesday July 12th
Time:  9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break for lunch
Location:  Best Little Retreat Center –
7989 Beltline Road, Suite 168, Dallas, TX 75248 (Northwest corner of Coit and Beltline)

If you can stitch on a drawn line, you can make this doll.  Participants will learn how to stitch small parts with ease, how to turn the dolls limbs with household items, color a face (don’t worry a template will be provided), make a wig and dress the doll.

You will receive the pattern when you register and there will be a Zoom meeting for questions about supplies and instructions of what needs to be done prior to class.  For example, look through your stash for fabrics, yarn etc. to create a colorful and joyful doll.

Registration is limited so click here to sign up:  https://events.eventzilla.net/e/alice-the-cloth-doll-workshop-2138582755

  1. I have Annies Pattern Club books/magazine beginning in 1980 going forward in to the 1990’s and Annies Calendar Bed Doll pattern sets 1991 through 1995. I am looking for a good home for them. Do you know of anyone that would be interested. williams.cfd@gmail.com
