January 20th 2018 SOLD OUT – Shirtmaking Workshop with Maris Olsen (President of Seattle ASG)

January 29 – 30th  Master Challenging Fabrics Academy  sign up at Fabrique Fabrics   972 943-3400

This 2-day course exposes students to a wide variety of fabrics and will guide
them in the fundamentals of seaming and hemming the fabrics. At the conclusion
of the academy, participants will have compiled a Technique Book to use as a
reference guide every time they sew. The finished book holds the samples sewn
at the course as well as the sewing instructions and tips.
The seven lessons will cover:
1. Leather & Vinyl
2. Fur
3. Lightweight Woven
4. Medium Weight Woven
5. Knits
6. Denim
7. Pile Fabric
Best of BERNINA Plano will provide the fabrics and the Technique Book and
machines. The program will be presented by a BERNINA Educator and will be held
January 29 and 30 from 9-3 at Best of BERNINA.
The place-holder class fee is $25.
